Gary A. Modafferi graduated with honors from Seton Hall University and received his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School.
Modafferi was employed as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the City of and County of Honolulu for eleven years. There, he was branch chief of the Narcotic Unit. Modafferi prosecuted many high profile murder and organized crime cases while employed as a prosecutor. Modafferi assisted in the prosecution of the murder of Officer Troy Barboza. As a defense attorney, Modafferi defended the first Japanese citizen extradited to the United States for the crime of murder.
Most recently, Modafferi has been employed by Dominic Gentile Esq. and is currently consulting in a non-attorney function with Cristalli & Saggese. Modafferi assisted with the defense of Sandra Murphy, Craig Titus and other high profile matters defended by Cristalli & Saggese through research, writing, and trial strategy.
